1. LET US RECALL & RE-ENERGIZE OURSELVES

It’s time to recall and re-energize. DAV Public School, Kansbahal celebrated the birth anniversary of Veer Surendra Sai and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose on 23^rd January 2016 (Saturday). The Principal, Mrs Rashmi Mishra offered floral tributes and lit the lamp at the portraits of the great souls. The students and teachers highlighted on the life and ideals of the great martyrs through their speeches.

2. SALUTE THE NATION

The 67^th Republic Day was celebrated on 26^th January 2016(Tuesday) on the premises of DAV Public school, Kansbahal. The Principal Mrs. Rashmi Mishra hoisted the national flag. She invoked patriotic fervour and emphasized that true spirit of education can make a prosperous and corruption free healthy India.

                                                                                            3.  UTKAL DIVAS AT DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, KANSBAHAL
The 80^th Birth Anniversary of Odisha was celebrated with much grandeur in DAV Public School, Kansbahal. A floral tribute was paid to the images of great souls Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati, Utkalgourav Madhusudan Das, Utkalamani Gopabandhu Das and  Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Senapati for their invaluable service .Teachers spoke on the glorious history of the land and advised the upcoming educated mass to respect mother tongue, art, culture, literature and its utility for the state.

                                                                                    4. 'ARGHYA-2016’: THE CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA AT DAV KANSBAHAL
With much splendor, color and enthusiasm DAV Public School Kansbahal celebrated its festive 8^th Annual Day Celebrations-‘ARGHYA-2016’ on 10^th April 2016.The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr Raju Rai, Head-Product BU and Chairman Local Managing Committee DAV Public School, Kansbahal and Guest of Honour,  Mrs Rebecca Rai.

6. SCALING THE SKY

Sumit Behera and Usha Das of class VIII, Odia medium got National Rural Talent Scholarship 2015-16 conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education.
